CHALLENGE: OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE
Operational
Performance and improving Production Availability through
managing the risks of production constraints is increasingly
important in a high oil price environment:
Production Assurance can be improved by better understanding
the interaction between production chemistry and materials
in changing operating environments. Production risks
associated with short-term deliverability or long-term
integrity are driven by:
- Production Chemistry in terms of sour production,
microbial activity, the potential for scale, wax and
asphaltenes etc.
- Dynamic Production Environments in terms of Reservoir
Souring, increasing Water Cuts, Sand Production, Production
Commingling and Production Compatibility Issues.
- Operational Management in terms of Inhibitor Performance,
Start-up and Shut-down Philosophies, mid/late field
life water injection etc and operating conditions
falling outside design envelopes.
Primarily focussed at well operations and optimising pipeline
production infrastructure, CAPCIS provides a current assessment
and future prediction of the production chemistry behaviour
in dynamic oil and gas operating environments; as well
as the necessary knowledge, expertise and testing facilities
to trouble shoot production related issues. Our role is
to provide our clients with the necessary rational for
optimising production within available infrastructure
constraints; pushing the boundaries of accepted operating
and design envelopes; and identifying the requirement
and timing for future intervention. << Back |
