CAPCIS provides a range of expert services focussed on investigating the characteristics of oil and gas production and evaluating the risk of compromising both Material Performance and Production Assurance through the lifetime of the field given the prevailing physical and operational environment.
CAPCIS' expertise covers complex reservoirs with increasingly
challenging production chemistry (scale, corrosion,
Hg, CO2, wax, sand, Aspheltenes etc); aquifer
behaviour and associated water chemistry; and both HP/HT
and sour operating environments.
CAPCIS tackles projects where harsh physical environments such as deep water, remote locations, arctic conditions prevail and where diverse operating strategies are employed.
CAPCIS is uniquely positioned to undertake this work given its ability to combine the fundamental science behind oil and gas production chemistry; with the ability to verify desktop assessments through specialist testing under a range operating conditions; and provide performance verification through field based work and risk based interpretation.
Production Chemistry and Materials Selection services provide essential input
to the design basis for new facilities; and require
continual assessment given the dynamic nature of reservoir
behaviour through field life.
